Friendly and helpful. Not the greatest prices but ok
Considering the fact that IGA supermarket here in Cessnock doesn't have the same volume of customers/turnover of stock as the other 3 supermarkets in town, I think they do a GREAT job with stocking SO MANY products at competitive prices. Sure, sometimes some of their fruit & veg prices are a bit high, but honestly, if you want to get in & out of a store with a minimum of fuss, our local IGA store is your ideal supermarket. If you take the time to wander around the store (like I've done on several occasions over the years), you'll be impressed with their comprehensive range AND indeed, with some of their EXCELLENT SPECIALS... You don't always notice them if you just rush around, but they are IMPRESSIVE & this morning I popped in for a few items & I was greeted cheerfully & enthusiastically by a delightful *new* staff member called Sienna at the Deli Counter. This is the 2nd time I've been served by her in about a week & she's so bubbly & helpful. Thank you Sienna & thank you IGA Cessnock for being a GREAT independent grocery store. :)
