Day one; The Carpet is mdirty and felt sticky underfoot, the bathroom has black, mouldy grouting, one cup was dirty, toaster didnt work properly, coffee table dusty, bed was very hard. Day two; bed not made, wet towels not replaced, no cups. The rooms are small and a bit old fashioned which is acceptable as the fee is not high but dirty is never acceptable. The positives are, friendly reception, good free wifi, good breakfast and big towels. But the negs outweigh the positives therefore we would not stay their again.

Hi Helen thanks for Taking the time to write a note and place it under my windscreen asking if I could please park between the lines. Unfortunately I did not see these lines . This is probably due to the fact that like everything else in your motel they are faded and outdated and therefore useless. I did initially park closer to the stairwell but after seeing numerous people slide past my new car dragging suitcases and bags across the doors i thought Id move it slightly away to protect from damage . Anyway thanks for airing your concerns . Now that we have an open dialogue Could you please remove the extensive mould from the large pipe in the ceiling of the shower recess in unit 4 its very unsightly . Could you also employ the services of a professional carpet cleaner to wash the carpets . They clearly havent been washed in years . Could you also please fix the stairs that service the upper levels they make an incredible amount of noise for people in the lower units whilst people are traversing them and sound loose and dangerous. Could you also please replace the filter in the air conditioning unit it was absolutely gross . Thank you
Lovely little old place.A bit of traffic noise.Close to pub and fast breakfast.Rooms old but clean and fresh.Host and welcome very pleasant. Allowed us to park motorbikes under shelter.Would use it again and recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere clean comfy and reasonably priced.
