My air conditioning needed re-gassing, a simple, yet expensive process These guys had been recommended, however, the should be investigated, because the service, attitude and "customer care" was non existentI have had issues with A/C with other vehicles, and re-gassing has been a simple fix. Not in this case.All seemed pretty good on face value, my Kia Carnival is in pretty good condition, it is a 2004 model, first time the a/c has needed any attention. Well after leaving it with them for the best part of 6 hours, I returned to find the vehicle idling with the a/c on full bore, it was freezing in the vehicle. All seemed ok, within 5 minutes of driving away from the workshop, the a/c ceased operating, ireturned to the workshop to inform them they had blown up the system, only to be told, the $295 I had just paid for re-gassing was now lost, and it will cost Approx. $1000 for a complete replacement of the a/c AND NO, the cost of re-gassing would not be refunded in an scenario.Every so often, you hear about mechanics who rip off their customers at every opportunity. Well, these guys are that workshop to stay well away from !!!!Don't ever trust them to do any work on your vehicle.

On a stinking hot 44 degree Friday afternoon I drove into Cessnock with my car overheating and managed to nose into Peter Mann's Automotive driveway as the car came to a halt. I was passing through Cessnock for a weekend away in the Hunter.Peter's team had no capacity to fix my car as they were catching up on overdue work. No one else in Cessnock was able to help me and the NRMA were unhelpful.By the time I'd finished those phone calls, I cam back into the office to find that Peter and his son had diagnosed the problem as a cracked radiator, found a spare part in Sydney , organised to have it sent to Cessnock and kindly agreed to do the work on Monday. On Monday morning I rocked up to see how things were going and I was greeted warmly by Pam at reception and more wonderfully kind employees.The work was completed to the highest standard and I was back in Sydney by 1pm.A huge thank you to a professional and generous Peter Mann and his team. I would highly recommend them anytime.
